Why RIC?

Many people experience profound personal transformation, yet still struggle to find places where that transformation is recognised, supported, and sustained.

Whether following imprisonment, addiction, homelessness, exclusion, or other life transitions, lasting change requires more than individual effort alone.

The RIC Framework was developed to explore how transformation becomes socially real through restoration, renewed identity, and meaningful participation within community.

Restoration to Flourshing

The RIC Framework proposes that sustainable transformation is not achieved through restoration, identity, or community alone.

Rather, these dimensions interact and reinforce one another.

When individuals experience restoration, develop a renewed sense of identity, and find meaningful participation within community, pathways toward long-term flourishing become possible.
